ru: Приехав в Германию в 2002 году и уже находясь более 5 лет, я, признаюсь, все-таки довольно оторван от реалий и событий жизни в России. Моё мнение теперь в значительной степени находится под влиянием европеских средств массовой информации, которые в своём папараци-экстазе быть абсолютно объективными зачастую как раз необъективны и предвзяты. Я уже не говорю об американской пропаганде, чего стоит хотя бы одно высказывание МакКейна о Путине "Я посмотрел в его глаза и увидел три буквы: К, Г и Б". Интересно, эти буквы там были написаны латиницей?
Сегодня я случайно нашел в сети вот эту видеозапись. Я отнюдь не сторонник Путина, но всем рекомендую посмотреть ее внимательно, и до самого конца. Чтобы не говорили противники Путина, у него есть харизма, харизма лидера. Я не знаю, да и никогда не узнаю, как делается политика в его кабинете -- но по его выступлениям я могу им только гордиться.

I've been living here for more than 5 years and I must confess, I am now quite far from the reality and events of contemporary Russia. My opinion to a rather great extend is shaped by european mass media, whose exstatic papparazzi desire to be most objective often makes them biased and preconceived. I am not talking about american propaganda, judged merely by a recent saying of John McCain "Putin is not acting as a Jeffersonian democrat. We all know that Putin is creating us trouble in many parts of the world... And when I looked at Putin's eyes I saw 3 letters: a 'K', a 'G' and a 'B'"". I hope Putin used Latin alfabet in his "digital eyes" so McCain could read these letters...
Today I came across this video on YouTube (see above). I am not at all a Putin's proponent, but I would recommend to everyone of you to watch it, watch carefully from the very beginning to the very end (!). Whatever his opponents claim, he possesses charisma, the one of a natural-born leader. I don't know what's happening in his private cabinet in the White House, and I will hardly know it for sure. But I am very much proud of his speak -- I can't help being proud of him.
